Re: Finally, fullsize, v1.0 Fuji samples
There are a few that I would like to see the EXIF for. Am I missing some way to see the exif without trying to download the shots.

Re: Finally, fullsize, v1.0 Fuji samples
The shots still need a little USM, some midtone contrast bump and a bit of saturation. After that I felt very satisfied with the amount of detail in this F4, ISO 200, 1/1700 sec shot:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/fotois/...n/photostream/ The selective focus in this F2 shot would just not be possible with my GRD2, (at least not at this focusing distance): http://www.flickr.com/photos/fotois/...n/photostream/ Thom: What do you mean I have to use mi RIGHT eye ? Ken: This aint no Velvia from my $9000 point-focus-shoot ! You be the judge... Last edited by jorgeAD; 2nd March 2011 at 21:14. |

Click on the "Fujifilm FinePix X100" link, right under the users avatar, on the very first screen that shows up after the thumbnail.

Above the image in question, there is an "Actions" button. Hit it and select "View EXIF info".

I must say it looks pretty pretty good. Fuji- the only other manufacturer that can do a decent JPEG engine at the moment (in my book anyway).

Re: Finally, fullsize, v1.0 Fuji samples
Personally, while it is nice to have access to the full sized files, I was unimpressed with the shots posted on the link. To its credit, however, the high ISO shots showed noise well controlled but some of the interior focus shots were surprisingly unexceptional. The clarity of shots taken in bright light at ISO 200 were great. But so are a lot of others from other cameras today.
That said, on on DPreview's Fuji forum I found THIS: http://www.flickr.com/groups/x100/ These shots started to really let the camera strut its potential stuff and why I think this camera really has great potential. Now if only these shots could be available in full size files to be sure.

Re: Finally, fullsize, v1.0 Fuji samples
First impressions of the X100 posted on Steve Huff's site:
http://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2011/0...ieter-franken/ Short conclusion: Don't ditch your M9 quite yet. AF is apparently a little funky. The lens is no 35mm Summilux (but at $1200 did you expect it to be?) But images aren't bad. Images good to ISO 6400 according to this guy. He seems to posted some of the shots on the Flickr site I'd found. http://www.flickr.com/groups/x100/
