    They're just thin plastic 1 gallon water jugs, I simply squeeze out any excess air out with putting the cap on. Out of frugality, instead of buy special bottles or any of that, I just buy filtered water and use the jugs the water comes in simply pouring out as needed to make room for the other...

    Thanks! Believe it or not, I'm still using stock D76 solution that's been mixed almost 2 years ago (I dump instead of replenish) that's still working perfectly!

    Hey Jim, That looks really nice! Keep it up. If you do just a base plate with no L piece or grip and didn't extend the dimensions of the body in any way other than to provide the grooves for Arca mounts I'd be really interested. I've tried the fuji grip and just didn't feel a need for it...

    It does have an IR Cut filter, but it's rather weak. Throw that in with stellar noise control (seriously cleanest files I've ever seen), and EVF mode, you have a kit you can compose and focus accurately and handhold

    Ditto what Doug said above. In re: to auto focus of AF vs DF, it's better but nothing dramatic. Marginally faster but noticeably more accurate. Haven't tried the DF+ yet. Also, the AF loves to eat batteries even when turned off. Mine would kill them in two days without use. The DF does...
