Re: I just wrote up my experiences with the Pentax 645z

Trolling or not, Canon's overaged sensor technology got me tired now. I do (mainly) interior photography among other things.
In my digital beginnings (10 years ago), I was thrilled when I learned...

Re: Fun with MF images

Hi Ashwin, great takes and great camera. Can you tell what lens and aperture did you use for the last pic?
I'm seeing at a 100% enlargement crop of the picture below, right?
Thanks,
Eduardo

Re: SWC and Digital Back

Hello Jürgen, long time since we talked last time. I hope you're just fine.
I wish to ask you a few things about your gear:
Have you used or owned the CF-IF 40mm?
If you have, perhaps you could...

Re: CFV 50c vs Credo 50/40?

I still remember the Hasselblad brochure with the drawings of a male photographer holding the camera in various positions: Arms up and camera upside down, squatting with the camera almost a floor...

Re: CFV 50c vs Credo 50/40?

Off the record:
I was wondering that since you use the 50c on your V exclusively for portraits, would you pay someone with the skills and means to rotate the sensor to vertical position?
500CM WLF...

Re: KUDOS to Wayne Fox--LiveView on a CCD back at last

I'm sure Sony won't stop at 44x33. They already the have developed the technology. It is just a matter of making it mature from now on. Canon has been practically exhausting the same technology (and...

Re: New CEO

Well Andy, I'm not sure about that but certainly I felt exactly like that when Hasselblad came with H system instead of taking the V to the new millennium, like Leica and Nikon did.
I have felt...

Re: New CEO

Yet Hasselblad's classic V cameras still look way more luxurious than H and in my personal style of shooting more utilitarian than both.

Re: IBIS & Lens corrections

Even most dedicated lenses have a few extra mils of leeway. Wides have the least but then again they would need much less shift to compensate for camera shake.

Re: iq250/iq260 residual value

Same thing here.
About every other format up from 1" sort of doubles in size. FF more than doubles in size APS-C and it costs only twice as much.
44X33 is barely 1.6X the size of FF and it costs...

2.- Bokeh quality that separates subject to...
