Re: CFV-50c !!

At $15,000.00 it is about double the price it should be. How can Pentax with an entire camera and the same sensor, sell theirs at half the price of the CFV-50CII? As much as I'd like to have this...

Re: Excited About My New Hasselblad H3D2-31

Dive in. You'll find it pretty easy. You will also find that you can hide the features that you do not use that frequently. You may find some help on Youtube that could be useful.

Re: Excited About My New Hasselblad H3D2-31

Congratulations on your new camera. As for this being your "Forever" camera, I doubt it. Medium Format Digital kind of sucks you in. The small learning curve for Phocus is well worth it in the...

Re: First MFDB purchase question

If I were you, I wouldn't rule out the H3D22 or the P21. There is a whole thread on fat pixel" digital backs on this forum that you might want to consult. There is some sort of magic for me with...

Re: Need CF card recovery advice for S2 images!

Great news Marc. This is the news I was looking forward to hearing. I'm sure wedding photographers feel your pain. And, I'm also sure there are many, many times we have all shot events that are...

Re: Need CF card recovery advice for S2 images!

After an unfortunate incident with my CFV16, I started taking 25-30 images and changing CF cards on my H4D60. Between changes, I'd make sure the images were actually there before proceeding to the...

Re: H4D-60, The Future of Hasselblad, and Always Waiting For the Next Big Thing

Personally, I don't see a reason why Sony would buy Hasselblad, or for that matter why Fuji would either. Too bad we don't have a photo enthusiast with a boat load of money to buy Hasselblad.

Re: H4D-60, The Future of Hasselblad, and Always Waiting For the Next Big Thing

NickT should write a synopsis of the history of Hasselblad starting with the introduction of the H line of cameras. Then when he sees inaccurate information he could copy and paste it for this and...

Re: H4D-60, The Future of Hasselblad, and Always Waiting For the Next Big Thing

Hey Steve. Take it from me. There is definitely a Phase bias on this forum. But that is OK with me. Most of us understand this and accept it for what it is. In life we see bias in most areas,...

Re: Fun with MF images

As I composed this picture, a car drove by slowly, and the guy on the passenger side said, "Nice car." Then he said "She's pretty hot, too." She being 65 years old. As I relayed his comment to my...

Love the image, but I love, love, love that pickup. If my three garages were not full and one sitting outside, I'd have one.

Re: Printing Medium format images

I also print medium format on an Epson large format printer. No matter if I print 35mm or MFD, I am always amazed by the finished print. However, the way Hasselblad handles colors make them even...

Re: I am so done with other site.

It is pretty obvious to what site he is referring. I quit going there four years ago. Every time we go to "that" site we add to the "clicks" or logging onto his forum. He gets advertising revenue...

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes.

OK. I have heard Hasselblad is coming out with a mirrorless RF type camera. My prediction is that it will be DMF camera with a EVF and will take current MF Hasselblad lenses. So, it could be that...

The IR filter on my H3D22 was replaced in New Jersey only a couple of months ago, for which I was charged $441.00.

Re: Epson 7880 nozzle cleaning hazard

Epson 7880 nozzle cleaning hazard

My epson 7880 printer exhibited a few lines missing on a nozzle check, so I went to YouTube to find a solution. It was advised to fold three plies of a paper towel about an inch for each fold. ...

Re: Speculation : Sony MF system

Why can't Hasselblad design a mirror less camera, Fuji build it, and Sony provide the sensor? After all, Hasselblad has great working relationships with both companies.
