Re: iq250/iq260 residual value

Same thing here.
About every other format up from 1" sort of doubles in size. FF more than doubles in size APS-C and it costs only twice as much.
44X33 is barely 1.6X the size of FF and it costs...

Re: Sony RX100 - getting started

I've found the quality image of my RX100III to be good enough for almost anything. Where I've found this camera doesn't cut it is on capturing open landscape with clouds and atmospheric effects. It...

Re: Some P45+/Hasselblad V series samples

These 3 pictures are good examples of two things MF can do better.

1.- Smooth tonal gradation with great sharpness that doesn't interrupt the speech.

2.- Bokeh quality that separates subject to...

Re: Have all Canon fans moved to Fred Miranda?

Concerning cameras, word of mouth is powerful. For years I've lived under the impression that the collective really listen to professionals and respected amateurs.
It is unlike cars in which people...

Re: Have all Canon fans moved to Fred Miranda?

Its official. Canon believes they fabricate the best sensor there is. In a DPR interview with one very big-shot at Canon Imaging, Maeda San said that if they didn't, they would outsource from...

But... truth is, I have a lot of respect for Canon (just...
