Re: Photographing your Bokeh
Thanks Abbazz!
Did you move the camera while shooting or is this the actual bokeh? Would like to see a sample without a busy foreground to better see how it renders. I can see a little of it on the last photo on the left. It is a nice fast lens. Michiel |

![]() You can find a few pictures taken with this lens on my Zenfolio gallery but the first 13 pictures were taken when the lens was still suffering from a bad case of element separation. The subsequent pictures where taken after applying my magical heat treatment. And sorry for the off-topic, guys .Cheers! Abbazz |

Re: "After the Morning Rain"
Much as I love black and white, this version I prefer. Not sure about the title though, the street below does look dry ...
My title would be "Condensed Buildings"

Re: Photographing your Bokeh
Thanks Raf & JerryMK for the very nice comments, for someone who is very much a novice they are really appreciated. Its looking at all the smashing shots and advice from posters on forums such as this, that gives you all the encouragement you need. Cheers everyone.

Zenitar 16mm/2.8
I've just received my Zenitar 16mm/2.8 M42 mount lens, purchased for the Italian tilt adapter that has been discussed in earlier posts.
I think this lens will be useful for blenders and bokehgraphers - here is a test picture. Taken on the G1 and at aperture 2.8. Keith ![]() |

I did this on my mission of doing a "bokeh a day" in Europe last year. I thought that the Holiday Inn sign had potential! I travel again in five weeks and I'm setting the same goal - a "bokeh a day" Regards Keith |

Now I can see "HO" of the Holiday Inn sign. It is good to set some realistic and attainable goals such as a "bokeh a day". In my future travels, I will do the same ... As you do, I will take a couple of my favorite bokeh lenses to some faraway places planned for this spring. Best regards, Leica 77. |

The 200mm f/5.6 works OK but having the point sources of light at night helps. It is a sculpture made of rope lights like the stuff you use for Christmas lights. |

Might as well post it here (traffic bokeh) although it is more a variation on the first photo of the -No need for Noktor- thread.
