Phase One Prices

Does anyone have any idea what the correct MSRPs are for Phase One backs? I can't find a single dealer's website that has current pricing. Nor does the Phase One website have MSRP anywhere that I can see.

A Phase One sales rep recently told me that the P20+ had been reduced to $8990 with an AFD II included and that the P25+ had been reduced to $20990 with an AFD II included.

But apparently he was wrong. When I approached one dealer with this new P20+ pricing the dealer told me it was incorrect. The Phase rep subsequently apologized profusely for providing the wrong information. (It's $9990 I think, but who can be sure).

This seems like the perfect setup to be hosed by a Phase One dealer. Just don't publish prices anywhere and they can tell you whatever they want regarding the prices. You might think you're getting a great deal when in fact the MSRPs had been reduced but no one knew except for Phase and their dealers.

In fact this irritates me so much I probably will not buy a Phase One back, period. Can you imagine buying a car where the MSRP was unpublished, like it isn't a horrible experience even when you DO know?

Guys here are the current Phase One MSRP prices as of April 1,2008. There have been three price drops, the P20+,P21+ and the P25+.
These systems can be bundled with the new Phase One Camera System which add a PhaseOne 645AFD Camera and new 80mm PhaseOne lens. The Value Add package also includes the Mamiya HB Adapter for using Hassy V series lenses on the Phase One 645 AFD. So to add the bundles to your back purchcase it is an additional $2500 for classic and for a value added version it is $4000 (or $3000 for the P45+). When you purchase the camera as a bundled system it carries the same warranty as the digital back.
Also you can purchase the camera system alone for $5000 classic and $7000 value add.
There some new upgrade prices for existing users, please email me for specific pricing.

right. for this money i'd rather buy a used spare. works much better than warranty
