This lens is generally in fantastic shape, with few signs of use, perfect glass, etc.

However, the focusing is not so smooth, and the aperture ring has a very light touch. My theory is that the lubrication has partly evaporated over time. A repairman once thought that it just needed disassembly, lubing and reassembly, something which even a layman could undertake with an older, simpler design like this, but I never got around to doing it. It was estimated to cost 85 Euro, IIRC.

It comes with a Canon adapter. Photos from it are pretty decent right into the corner, wide open, and get sharp when stopped down a bit. It deserves its reputation as being an affordable, good wide angle lens. Comes with a nice little leather satchel.

Normally it would sell for around 300 Euro, but given the focusing ring condition, I will sell for 150 Euro. Shipping extra. Please check shipping costs to your country before buying. I will take PayPal or bank transfer.

I forgot to mention, my eBay account has 100.0% with 190 ratings: cwhimster.

One potential buyer is already asking many questions, but no firm offer yet, so hurry up if you want it.

And a photo made with the lens. I *think* this was made wide open or at f/4, and the corners are not quite sharp. It needs to be stopped down a bit more, like many wide angle lenses. The focus is in the middle, so the corners are also closer.

This is on a Canon 5D. Generally, this lens was a bit sharper and had nicer colours than my 17-40mm, but in the end I preferred the flexibility of the zoom, and the extra width at 17mm.
