I recently acquired a Sony 35mm f/1.4G and hence decided to let go of my near-mint copy of the 35mm f/2.
The 35mm f/2, like its other f/2 counterparts in the Minolta range, is a VERY sharp Full-frame lens, while weighing in at a featherweight 240gms.......a perfect walkaround lens on the A900/A850, while offering a wider perspective than a 50mm lens.....and offers an approximately 50mm equivalent view on the APS-C Alpha cameras, including the SLT line (A55/33).
The copy is nearly perfect, except for some very minor handling marks that need close observation to notice. Glass is perfect.
Overall, a 9.5/10.
