    Sony lenses transmission (t-stops)

Is there anyone who tests sony mount lenses and their actual transmission vs the stated f-stop? Would be nice to have a centralized database of lenses with this info.

Hasselblad--Major Disconnect with HNNR and Phocus, Please Fix

Yea, maybe it's close but it's not the same as a large eizo screen. The immersion while working on the image is still something I miss when playing around on the mobile devices. I don't see the mobile world as a substitute for the desktop, and this is where the AI noise reduction should be added.

Hasselblad--Major Disconnect with HNNR and Phocus, Please Fix

I wrote about this in another thread, I'm seeing the same issue as you are Wien it comes to opening the denoised images back in Phocus. At the moment the whole post production workflow is busted and seems to be tailored for instagram bragging rights (the Hasselblad frames, etc). No serious post...

    Phocus Mobile 2 v3.0.0

Does anybody have some insight into when this technology will be available on the desktop? While the iPad is cool as a mobile device, there is no substitute to working on a big screen with a real keyboard and perhaps a wacom cintiq. Having some features available on the desktop, but not others...

When will the Hasselblad X2D firmware update be released that unlocks multi-shot features?

They should also update the windows version which seems to have been abandoned.

Phocus high iso raw files vs lightroom

The file is a .fff in both Lightroom and Phocus. Thank you for the link to the post above.

Phocus high iso raw files vs lightroom

I have noticed that files that are shot at higher iso (this one at 3200) look much worse and lack detail when opened in phocus vs lightroom. They are from my X2D. Has anyone else experienced this? Lightroom has some noise but not compression like splotches. I unchecked the noise filter section...

    X2D exposure preview

I will have to test that, I assume the histogram reads off the live view 8 bit frames and not what the raw will be, so I would expect it to show me the "right thing" given what I'm seeing in the viewfinder.

    X2D exposure preview

I have not, but would the display brightness effect the raw? I assume it would not. During live view the image appears fine, after it's taken there is a difference with the exposure, as if the exposure preview is biased towards showing a darker (and more correct looking) than what the final...

    X2D exposure preview

I'm shooting raw, but assume the image preview after I push the shutter is a generated JPEG which is brighter than what I'm seeing in the live view. Raw digger shows the areas that are to hot visually during the post shot preview as in fact over exposed/clipped in the raw.

    X2D exposure preview

I have noticed that the exposure preview on my X2D is often not accurate, usually a bit over exposed from what I'm seeing in the view finder. Any tips to get it to match?

    Medium cameras and insurance

I was wondering who people on here use as their camera insurance company (i’m in canada). Are medium format cameras classified as a different class of equipment on insurance policies vs “regular” cameras or is it purely based on value?

    Hasselblad X system crop factor

Do you know how one would arrive at 21mm FF equivalence from a 30mm xcd lens vs 24?

    Hasselblad X system crop factor

I have run across a video featuring Hasselblad's technical communications manager where (at 45:30) he shows a chart claiming the 30mm lens is a 21mm FF equivalent, while there is another website here Hasselblad X System Crop Factor and XCD Lens Full Frame Equivalent Focal Lengths...
