Long live technical cameras and digital view cameras!

IMHO the most cost effective way into movements is with the kipon t/s adapter on gfx or x mounts with p645 lenses.the kipon fixes the lens with its tripod foot which is optimum. The adapter is solid albeit with limited options for movement and later p645 lenses are very adequate for the 100mp...

    Hasselblad 100C and 35XL

Hie Vieri, it is the Digaron HR 35mm F4 rather than the grandagon which I understand to be a poor choice. Very very happy with it - I'll maybe do some tests later to show its range & qc as there isnt much about it.

    Hasselblad 100C and 35XL

Yes, agree - in fact I posted that I could get the 35mm HR Rodenstock to do it but admittedly only under conditions it would be unlikely that I would encounter in my photography. I was just saying the commonest discussion is about the 35 Digitar it being a very very useful lens. I also agree...

    Hasselblad 100C and 35XL

I think the pain is being felt largely with one lens - the 35mm XL in its various forms. This lens has mostly been unusable with digital cameras for years due to its shortcomings. To be honest I still would have expected issues with the 35XL on the 100C, it is a sub optimal design for digital...

    Fuji GFX 100RF

Interesting but lack of stabilisation likely to be tough for many. I thought I wouldn’t need ibis with the 907x/100c but my keeper rate dropped through the floor at less than 1/125th sec - less than 10%. Ended up getting an x2d where down to 1/10th is reliable.

    Travelling with a technical camera

No problem here with zips. I did break off the chest strap on one side and although Ortleib sent a replacement I could not fit it for love nor money. They did say it was difficult !

    Travelling with a technical camera

2nd vote for the Ortleib and the Tenba BYOB inserts. Excellent low profile bag. Another good bag for Tech cam is the larger Atlas Adventure pack.

    Cambo Actus-DB2 + Hasselblad 50c 100c

I think that would be a more satisfying image with tech camera. Drop front or rear rise & stitch would give you a better start point with something like 35 mm lens on HB back

    Cambo Actus-DB2 + Hasselblad 50c 100c

For some reason I ended up with 3 solutions (4 if you count a tilt adapter for P645 lenses) - the Arca Universalis, The Cambo DB and a Linhof Techno. All have merits and drawbacks. The Cambo is the smallest and probably the least featured - in its basic form it's a push shift for panos rather...

    Sharpest Hasselblad XCD lenses

New 90mm V lens is finest lens I have ever used. Balances detail rendition with an organic rendering very well. 25mm is close to being as good. 38 and 55 if used carefully are really good too. All landscape use only.

    CPL Filter for XCD 45p

B+W or Heliopan low transmission only lose 1 stop so are my preference.
