    Bart, Thanks for noting the artefacts. I will take another look at my processing which was done rather hastily. Good find on the bird which is a red winged blackbird. Marsh areas with cattails are their preferred habitat. Best regards, Carl Replaced 2nd pond image that was wrong one.

    I shot a lot of 4x5 for awhile and ended up taking the convenience route shooting only Polaroid Type 55 P/N just for the negative. Those thin but highly detailed B&W negs were beautiful and easy to scan.

    Coming back to Leica

    Best wishes for your recovery Don. I went through a bout with cancer 10 years ago with advanced prostate cancer, but after 44 rounds of radiation treatment and some hormone therapy it seems to be finally gone. Just keep on clicking and move on.
