GigaPixel - make small sensors great again

It is even more impressive when your original file is from a foveon sensor (eg. Sigma DP2 Merrill) that can produce spectacular detail.

    Fun with the Lumix S9

Just picked up this little FF camera as a backup for the larger S1RII. No bells and whistles but it has all that I need. A few example images shot with the S9 and 20-60 in HHHR mode to yield 96 MP raw files. Uploaded here at 50% of full size. Also as of today's ACR and LR updates we can now...

Panasonic Lumix S1RII - new future for FF

Couple of HHHR shots using the Lumix S1RII and 28-200 from a walk around the ponds at the Cornell Arboretum. Note the schooling goldfish in second image and following closer view of one of the goldfish schools. The goldfish will probably start spawning once the pond water warms up close to 70...

Dealing with UPS and a warning about sending cameras to the USA

My daughter frequently ships large and very expensive paintings via a private shipper who makes scheduled pickups and deliveries for her and other artists in the area (Denver, Aspen, Vail CO). No incidents involving damage or delivery.

Panasonic Lumix S1RII - new future for FF

Practicing my HHHR shooting with the S1RII and 28-200 and since I'm unable to do any processing yet with the raw files i have been looking at the Photo Style settings for jpegs. Found this setting "Leica Monochrome". Pleasing grayscale rendering, but I don't know what qualities one would look...

Thanks Mike. I haven't tried any M mount lenses yet and for wide angle I have the Lumix 14-28 mm that I have also not used yet, but will do soon. I am very impressed with the build and optical quality of the little 75/2 from TTArrisans. A real bargain at $178.
