    Matt, while this won't help Al, there are adapters out there that have electronic contacts for the Mamiya 645AF aperture mechanism. Kipon makes them for the Sony FE mount and Fuji GFX mount. I've never tried one, so I don't know how well they work...

    AF will not be possible because the autofocus motor is in the AFD / DF / XF camera body.

    Questions about using LCC plates.

    The dust correction is handy, but I don't do LCC's in the field. I take notes on the shots and if an LCC is needed, I'll recreate it at home with the camera pointed up towards the sky for good illumination.

    The explanation I got... using the Sony sensor, that means removing the CFA, thus nullifying the PDAF auto-focus. So, a monochrome Q3 would need a unique auto-focus set-up. There are much more technically minded people who say whether or not that narrative flies, but that was the story I got.
