Yes...well I don't really think this is an error. Also happens to my other adapted lenses as well. As long as you known which lens is which, this does not bother me at all -

A7rII Sony A Mount. Include Sigma, Tamron, Minolta
Have been travelling to New Zealand and Hokkaido with A99II and A7rII, using adapted A mount lenses. A99II has good ergonomics but A7rII, to my eyes, has better IQ. -
