Will the free version of "Autopano Giga" work on a new tablet?

I don’t have a specific suggestion as I don’t have any experience with windows tablets. Just make sure the specifications say intel or AMD for the processor. You may also consider a used windows 10 (field use only) laptop like the Lenovo yoga or hp 360. Or a used Microsoft surface.

Will the free version of "Autopano Giga" work on a new tablet?

That is a Windows ARM based tablet. I don’t believe it will be able to run the software.

    phase one 120mm macro

If you’re using the lens on an XF, the AF version can do focus stacking automatically. The AF is not much more than the MF in the used market. The BR version has a leaf shutter if you really need the higher flash sync speed.

    Hasselblad Composer Tool

That’s a very fair comparison! Tubes colour the sound, which is comparable to the Hasselblad colour science producing pleasing ( not necessarily, accurate ) colours.

Fun with Medium Format FILM Images!

That looks like 3 pairs of people interacting. The first pair are having a deep conversation. Flower 2 looks thoughtful. The second pair looks like a parent and child. Flower 4 seems to be saying “What do you mean, I can’t go?”. Flower 3 looks stern! The last pair need no explanation -...

Looking to replicate telephoto panos in a single frozen moment with a high resolution back or large format film

Now I understand what you’re trying to do. A couple of IQ4 150s would give you plenty of resolution, but I think it would be impractical. If you want wide enough coverage, you’d have to use relatively wide angle lenses, which will vignette. You will then need multiple LCC frames, for each...

Looking to replicate telephoto panos in a single frozen moment with a high resolution back or large format film

Hi A quick back of the envelope calculation: 24 frames with 30% overlap would be equivalent of about 16 frames with no overlap. The Leica 180 has a 10 degree Field of view in the vertical position. So, would be the equivalent to 160 degree field of view. I think you’d be hardpressed to...
