The Hobo Camera 8x10" with Zeiss Protar V 110mm f/18

I got the camera with a medern 8/120mm MC coated lens but this is nor what I wanted, so I removed the lens and mount a very old Carl Zeiss Jena Protar V 110mm f/18 into the body. The lens has no shutter but I can use grey reduction filters to get a longer exposure time. I were realy surprised...

More and more film fun with something other than a Leica M

I made this photo with a very old Wollensak Vesta 7" f/5 I mount the lens cells in a modern Press I shutter because the original one has only B and T setting. This lens has a classic design of the 1840 Petzval but is not so fast but fast enough. Here I used f/5 and the 9x12cm sheet size. Film is...

Morgan Horse - Kodak Retina IIc

The Vito II is an excellent camera as well, I have had one with an uncoated Skopar and I liked it very much. I used it often with the Kodak Technical Pan because the uncoated glass reduced the contrast to a moderate rate. I don´t know were the camera is now, I lost it during one my movings. But...

Morgan Horse - Kodak Retina IIc

The Kodak Retinas are excellent cameras and I often have one in my pocket. I prefer the Retina IIa because it is the smallest rangefinder camera. It has not lightmeter but with B&W films I don´t miss one. Another beauty is the Retina Ia. No lightmeter, no rangefinder, straight photography...
