I'm buying. Does shot count matter a lot?

    Used bronc gear

Hi all, does anybody have a good resource to know how much used broncolor gear is worth more or less? Currently looking at a Grafit A4 pack with two heads. But it's a bit difficult to determine how much it should go for. Prices vary and some listings I found online were from years ago... Thanks!

    Cloud storage/back-up/archive

Ok I'm not going to use a cloud service. It all seems plug and play and safe, but actually you're never sure. Each brand/service has some horrible reviews. Algrove's option looks interesting, well a bit modified. I'm not only taking photo's, I also have video files. Those add up quickly to a...

    Cloud storage/back-up/archive

So you use Dropbox as a temp backup and Backblaze as archive? Did you only select your NAS with Backblaze or everything? Your NAS or NAS'es are probably always connected I assume?

    Cloud storage/back-up/archive

Thank you for your response. Could you elaborate a bit? Why Mega? Were there any others you were considering back when you chose Mega? Are you happy with Mega? Is useable as an archive solution? Can you choose which folders? Any others running Mega?

    Cloud storage/back-up/archive

Hi all, which cloud service do you use for permanent storage/back-up/archive? I have 2 HDD's (will add an extra third one soon) that are clones. I only use these to back-up / archive. So these are only sometimes connected. I'd like to make use of a cloud service on top of this to be safer...

    Portable studio stand

Has anybody tried creating / diying / crafting / combining elements into a portable (geared) studio stand? Or does anybody know someone who makes them? Of course it seems quite impossible... Studio stand and portable don't go hand in hand. Also what I mean by portable is, easy enough to put it...

    WTB Leica CL

Interested in a Leica CL Digital. Preferably body only, the native mount lenses are out of my budget. It can have some cosmetic (except for the screen) to lower down the price. Might even consider a Leica CL with EVF issues/not working. DM me if you have one for sale

    Digital Medium Format Question

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's a mix of studio and on (chosen) locations I do. There is indeed a H2 Set with 3 lenses and a P45+ back (around 2000 euro) near me that I've been keeping tabs on. There is also the new XH2 and XH2S that are coming out. I'm closely watching the rumors about...

    Digital Medium Format Question

Hi all, since I kind of have to get a new camera body somewhere the next couple of months, I'm debating if I should change system. Currently I use Fuji XT3. I'm a product photographer. Since lot's of product photographers use medium format, I was tinkering if I should go for a used digital MF...

Workflow advice/suggestions for someone who's got only experience with Photoshop

I've been using Capture ONE now for a short period. How do you guys manage and organise your portfolio? I've been trying to wrap my head around what I'd use best. A session or a catalog. A catalog is probably designed for this. But a session feels more intuitive for me. Mainly the part where a...

Workflow advice/suggestions for someone who's got only experience with Photoshop

I've been testing Capture One for a few hours the past couple of days. And also been watching some videos in the learning hub. Today I quickly tested DXO Photolab as well. My thoughts DXO Photolab I like that you can directly browse files, there's no need to import. While not having to import...

    Fuji X Fisheye lens advice

Hi all, what are some good fisheye lenses for portrait &fashion? I've been looking around and got the Samyang 8mm f2.8 on my radar as well as the Meike 8mm f3.5. Most reviews I have found talk about landscapes. Beneath some references...

Tilt Shift on the X System

Thanks for the suggestions. That's exactly what I was thinking of a few weeks/months ago @robmac, but it's probably out of my budget. I recently got an 80mm tilt shift, all manual. The tilt and shift is geared. I haven't tried it out yet, need to get an adapter for Fuji x

Workflow advice/suggestions for someone who's got only experience with Photoshop

Hi all, thanks for the replies! I'm testing out Capture One Pro at the moment. I wasn't saying that PS is the same as Lightroom or Capture One. Otherwise I wouldn't have started this topic. (But since a program like Davinci Resolve exists, it's not crazy to think an all in one solution exists)...

Workflow advice/suggestions for someone who's got only experience with Photoshop

Hi all, I need some workflow advice and or suggestions. I'm an early Photoshop user, and never used anything else (no lightroom). There's a bit of rambling in there, I tried to keep it short and highlighted the important parts. My current workflow consists of the following. 1. Copy files...

Tilt Shift on the X System

Well I've thought about using focus stacking. Although I haven't done it yet, I already spend so much time on the computer. The less time spent on the computer the better, and since it's an extra step required... Also there's certain projects where focus stacking isn't an option. Thanks,

Tilt Shift on the X System

That makes sense. I've been reading around on the same topic more or less. And I've been reading confusing things. Some say that a Tilt/Shift lens is less fiddly, and by reading that I guess more accurate regarding tilt etc. than a bigger system? And on another site I read the exact opposite...
