Certain Photos do not load into my web site

I use Microsoft Expressions Web for my web site. I have loaded successfully over 1,000 photos over the years. Lately two photos will not load. They load successfully to Facebook. The only slight difference I can think of, on each image I partially processed them in Photoshop 2024, and finished them in Photoshop CS6. Here is a screen shot of the page in Expressions where I tried to load the image. I drew an arrow to show you what happens.

Do the filename read xxxx jpg.jpg ? Saving multiple times and somehow adding .jpg multiple times is the only clue I could get from that.

Yes Martin I often reduce my full size images, for example D100 seascape.tif and call it D100 seascape small jpg.jpg
Do you think that may be an issue? I could try renaming and see what happens.

I don’t know, but adding .jpg multiple times (dot jpg) could be problematic, just calling a file xxxjpg should be safe.

I usually leave spaces in my file names...back in the DOS days that was a no-no, but I have not had problems (except for this current dilemma).

Here are the photos that will not work> Partially processed them in Photoshop 2024. The seascape I added another of my skies, and the reflection I added the rubber duck via PS2024 Neural Generation (I outlined the space and told PS to add a rubber duck!!). I finished them in PS CS6 because I have been using it for years and is a comfortable fit.

Spaces should not be a problem, but I would try to rename the files so they only have one "dot jpg" at the end, and no extra dots or jpg's anywhere else in the filename and see if that solves the problem. If that doesn't help I don't know.

Someone suggested opening the images in another application and re-save them. I did and IT WORKED. I opened them in Photolab 8, made minimal changes and re-saved. The program automatically adds _DXO to the titles so they were easy to find. In case you are interested the offending images are here, and they shouldalso be on my site, as I published after adding the two images.
