My latest Toy arrived on Friday. Too tired yesterday to do anything with it, but I cleaned the windows, put air in the tires, fired it up, and did two laps around the block today—first ride!

Need to get it insured and registered next, but it's so much fun!

Thanks!
Those are the Campagnolo Elektron (magnesium-aluminum) rally wheels, 13x5.5", fitted with modern Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires in 185/70-13 sizing.
A more common fitment in post-1969 cars is a set of Chromodora 14x6 alloy wheels.

It seems like it's been forever since I posted any photos...! The past couple of months have been very busy with other distractions, and there is also a huge stack of instant film prints to scan and render...

But yesterday, on my afternoon walk, I walked by a nearby construction fence for about the 1000th time and was again amused by the graffiti and the holes in the fence. I'd finished my last two shots with the Polaroid so all I had with me beyond that was the iPhone ... heh, it's a decent camera some times. :)

First and second photos are two takes on the same bit. Third photo is another bit of the fence that I liked the feel of...

I took a very short travel trip. First outing almost out of my house for 2 years!
Went to the UAE. Not for the EXPO in Dubai. But to a quiet sea side resort about 80 kms away.
Gorgeous weather. Little hot till late afternoon. But later on....wow!
i would walk n sit along the beach for hours. had dinner brought to the beach. a small shishah, n tea.
late late night...early morning, i went to bed.

So it was a busy day yesterday and I only had a chance to out for a short walk at the end of the day, as the sun was setting. Slow film in the Retina IIc, SX-70 film in the SLR670x ... eh, didn't feel like carrying a camera anyway. I went out with my iPhone 11 Pro.

All - iPhone 11 Pro, near max digital zoom
Rendered with SnapSeed

Enjoy!

My '67 Lancia Fulvia Coupe is in the shop being ministered to. Carburetors came back from the specialist rebuilder a couple of days ago, looking and working like brand new! :)

Rebuilt Solex PHH C35 Carburetors - Lancia Fulvia Coupe 2021
iPhone 11 Pro

Now with electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, valves adjusted, the carburetors tuned up in an instant and the engine runs perfectly! Just a couple more details to go and I'll be driving again. :D

As I've said before - LOVELY car !

As somebody who has suffered a fuel hose leak (close to my Alfa's Dellorto DHLA 45s)
the juxtaposition of that distributor to the fuel lines would slightly worry me !

I’m still shooting with an iPhone 6 when I don’t have a “real” camera with me. From a recent trip to Washington and a drive along the less populated areas of Puget Sound.

Eh? It's how the car has been running for the past 50+ years, and it's how *all* of them are laid out. It's never been a problem. Obviously, don't let the carbs and fuel lines deteriorate to the point of leaking. :)
