Johnny, There is a photo with the 1937 Contax in the A7 with old lenses thread. I'm going to Charleston, SC this week to shoot and I have the Contax tucked in my bag, so hopefully, I'll have more to post soon.Cindy,
I'm glad your enjoying the 50 rigid! I miss that lens and will probably look for more leica glass for my A7. Did you post any pics taken with the 1937 Contax? I'd love to see the rendering of that too. Keep up the great work!
Thanks, Godfrey. Yes, I really like the lens on the A7r. I had converted it to the Sony A mount, and I was not enjoying it on the LA-E4 because it seemed to "chatter". I changed it back to R mount recently, and am enjoying it more.Lovely photos, Cindy!
That Summilux-R 50 is just a delightful lens, isn't it?
I have to pull out my Nikkor 50/1.2 AI-S and compare it sometime. I know it's quite different in rendering style, particularly at and near wide open ...

Don't give up!Thank you very much!
It was a coincidence or an accident, i was trying to get the composition of those architectural design or windows of the mosque on the wall in perspective, and by sudden one worker was passing, so i took the shot to have a human element in the shot, it adds more than if i shoot that image without a human there even it will be good as well.
In fact, i have to return back to enjoy photography to have good shots, most of the time when i go online including this site and watching many with latest and so expensive gear with wonderful beautiful shots from beautiful places i feel i can't do anything and i must give up, but i hate to give up something i love.
I am happy for youMy Mum is now back at home from hospital and is doing amazingly well ...
As in car, camera, or lens? Whichever one it is, it's a great shot, but please don't tell me it's a car or I'm gonna hate you (in a good way)I took my new toy for a spin today
You are welcome but I have to hate you nowThanks, Zoran - I meant the car.
I will trade you my A7R for your AstonCamera and lens I've had a while and to be honest, they are probably more practical than the Aston
Just sitting here in front of my computer enjoying the sheer beauty of that car. Can't tear my eyes off it!I took my new toy for a spin today

This image literally jumped off the screen for me. And excellent industrial shot that I would print out and put on the wall. Amazingly done sir.
Same here but I have one problem with this picture. That car is too clean after being taken for a spin I am a huge fan of sports cars and when I take mine for a spin, especially one I just got, I don't stop till it's dirtyJust sitting here in front of my computer enjoying the sheer beauty of that car. Can't tear my eyes off it!
So am I but the wife insisted on us getting a new VW Touran this January. :scry:Just proves I'm in a (late) middle aged crisis
