Do I need to add an L-Bracket to the Kipon Eos - GFX Shift adapter for a parallax free stitch?

Hi,
Am hoping somebody might be able to help me? I have a Kipon Eos - GFX Shift adapter that has a tripod foot on the adapter itself. I can see how it works to get a parallax free stitch comprised of two portrait orientation images (end result being a landscape image) but cannot see how this is achievable going the other way?

If I leave the camera in landscape orientation, the "Shift" feature is on the top, which only enables Shift left/right. This could give me a super long and skinny landscape image but it is not what I am after. If I twist the adapter so that the "Shift" feature is on the side (potentially giving me a 2 x landscape shift up/down to get a final portrait image) that also moves the tripod collar.

Do I need to attach an L - Bracket to the tripod collar to achieve this?

Apologies if I am missing something very obvious, it is very, very possible! :)

Thanks in advance..

I have seen some of the Kipon T&S adapters rotate around the barrel, maybe yours does as well? Can you turn it 90 degrees for portrait mode?

Thanks..

Have looked it a bit further and think it does need an L-Bracket to get a 2 x landscape image stitch (up/down) to end up with 1 x portrait image. This is a "parallax free" stitch, which reduces any stitching issues.

Will need to look at it a bit further, currently my camera is upside down to achieve this... :)
