This should go in MF Objects thread, but I want to mingle a bit. It's a whatsit image. Sure, it's a coffee table but whatsit made of?
IQ4, 70HR, movements + a bit of stacking. Lighting is kind of funky because I couldn't move it into the studio.

For me , this building is very interesting to shoot . I would have done so as well .
I find the front very ugly . But , if you live there , you don't see it , when you are inside .

Another image with the Componon-S 150mm on my GFX/Universalis - late afternoon sun on a boardwalk across a wetland at Okarito on the South Island's West Coast (NZ). Forest in the background is rainforest dominated by podocarps, a southern genus that thrives in the 5+m of rain a year.

5+ m of rain a year ? o_O😲
This is at low elevation near the coast - it gets close to 10m at higher elevation on the western flanks of the Southern Alps about 15 km to the east. I had a friend who was running a rainfall study up there using a standard meteorological funnel piped into a 44 gallon drum. He used to measure how much it collected every month, but one month when he went to measure it, the drum had overflowed, and he had no way of knowing by how much...

Yesterday's hike with some friends from Natuurfotografen Dijleland brought us to the "Mechelse Heide" (heath of Maasmechelen) ... Unfortunately, the sky was cloudy, and the light rather dull.
Still, I managed to get a few shots that I would call 'decent' ...

During the past few days, the storm Ernestco created high surf off the east coast, but here in Newport the weather was mostly overcast forcing low shutter speeds with moderate ISO's. I was looking forward to using my recently acquired Fujifilm 500mm lens with an extender, to add to my collection of surfing photos; but as we all know photography is mostly about light which was insufficient for the most part. Here is one that I liked with some help from photoshop
