An image that shows me that, no matter how often we do things, basic errors and forgetfulness should still keep us grounded!
I went out to shoot star trails here, quite forgetting a mantra I had learnt many years ago: don't shoot the Harbour Bridge by night once the weather warms up. That's because the warm weather brings out insects into the lights, which in turn attracts birds. The trails left by birds are an unholy mess, which make star trail images either impossible or end up requiring even more work to edit them out (one frame at a time) than even a madman like me can face. So I satisfied myself with this image and went home to bed!
