This is a surprise image for me. Very interesting! I love the depth and the stunning storm in the background.🙂

Glad this is a welcomed surprise Dave.
Sorry about the typo…

I rarely see Grand Canyon images from inside looking up. It seems everyone loves the higher vantage point and looking across it or into the canyon.

Lou, I would love to hear more about your Grand Canyon experience.

The reason for rarely seeing images from inside looking up is that about 6 million (perhaps old numbers) visitors see the Grand Canyon from the South Rim (5 million) or the North Rim (1 million) whereas about annually around 25k see the Grand Canyon from below looking up. Of the 25K few use a real camera where most use iPhones (no phone service for my 8 days).
More to come.

I can say the meals the captain cooked every day were fabulous-full breakfast, coffee or tea, eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes etc. Lunch tuna or chicken salad and/or make your own super big sandwich-beef/ham/pork plus all the trimmings you wanted and thick Oreos for dessert plus sugar cookies. Dinner was a full meal from steak to baked birthday cakes-actually mine with a thick fudge topping. We had an Italian night with wine, German night with bratwurst cooked in beer-even German beer, pork roasts, hamburger and/or hot dogs with all the trimmings and on and on and on. Actually too much food. Afternoon trail mix and/or apples or oranges or pears or peaches. Always cold, cold ice water and gatorade for electrolytes.
