Intrepid Camera unveils new 150mm large-format lens and shutter

British large-format camera maker Intrepid Camera has unveiled a new 150mm large format lens which will launch later this year.

Intrepid Camera, British analog camera manufacturer, has announced a new large format 150mm lens with an electronic shutter. They will be launching Kickstarter campaign later this year, aiming for a price between 250 and 350 GBP for the set lens + shutter.

That's actually impressive. The lens also looks like it has a lovely non-clinical draw

The company has produced a second prototype that replaces the first.

Amazing – this could be the re-birth of analogue LF lens manufacturing.

Classic formulations like say the 150 Xenotar should be copiable w/o problems, so let's hope they adapt, improve and release some nifty LF glass!

If on top they solve the shutter problem ... wow.

Be great if they have some kind of wireless control of the shutter (bluetooth maybe?). That way it could be set and triggered from a phone or laptop, excellent whether you are shooting digital or LF. I hope they make a copal 0 size that will fit my 35XL and 28HR
