Night owls, drug addicts, tourists, crime - Kottbusser Tor in Berlin-Kreuzberg (Germany) does not have the best reputation. But for some years now, the residents of the Kotti, as the neighborhood is called, have been fighting against the bad image.
Initiatives, schools and others are trying to strengthen the residents' cohesion and sense of community. With campaigns like "We are the Kotti," they show that people live here who are committed to their neighborhood.
