No, S denotes an S-line lens - the Z mount Nikon lenses with the highest optical performance.

Thanks Jurgen! We're lucky living where we do, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, with plenty of trees around us – although Ash die-back is, sadly, killing many of them at the moment.
