Fun with the Pentax K-3 III & K-3 III M

I have been longing to shoot again with my old Pentax glass and recently purchased K-3 III and K-3 III M bodies to fulfill that wish. Great little APSC DSLR camera in both flavors. Starting this thread off with a few Spring garden shots using the K-3 III and a 43/1.9 Limited FA lens hand held.

and here are three more taken on a tripod using pixel shift mode.

Still waiting for the K-3 III Monochrome to ship but will add some more images when it arrives.

Comfy chairs, scopes, big windows facing the pond and feeders outside. What more could a birdwatcher want? Also the pond and feeder area is wired for sound that is piped into speakers above the window.

I'll be very curious to see the output of the K-3 III M when you get it. I have a K-3 II and K-1 II, but the M is really tempting to me since the majority of my photogrpaphy is B&W.

So will I, if it ever shows up. I had an update from B&H today on my order status and they have heard nothing from Pentax yet about fulfilling outstanding orders. This may be a long haul waiting situation.

B&H Photo still has had no updates from Pentax on backorders for the K-3 III M, but based on rate the they are currently shipping they are expecting my copy to ship near end of June (ordered late April).
