Fun with Q2 shots

Have you compared it to your original processing of the image ?
Yes, not drastically different since the original was pretty clean already but I subjectively prefer this version. 100% screenshot comparison:

Another repro Q2 image from last spring. Standard Adobe monochrome profile in LR after DXO PR2 processing and some added vignette.

I love the added vignette. The Q2 is very impressive. Do you think that the Q2 mono would have made a picture that you might've liked better?

Thanks Joel. I don't think that the Q2M version would have been that different. I had a Q2M briefly but sold it and purchased the RGB Q2 instead.

Here is a "pure" monochrome version shot with my monochrome converted Sony a6000 (Maxmax conversion).

I sold my original Q2 last year, but really regretted doing that so sold off some more gear to fund a new Reporter version of the Q2.

Couple of quick snaps in the back yard with the new Q2 and one macro shot of a cyclamen blossom (heavy crop and Adobe Enhance enlargement). All images were imported to LR via DXO PureRAW 2 with global sharpening turned off. No additional LR processing except conversion to jpg for export to Flickr.

The old Yucca plant outside my office window survived another cold winter and some starving deer browsing attempts.

On the Fall Creek trail just outside the fenced in Mundy Wildflower garden at Cornell botanic gardens. Six shots merged in LR Photomerge (HDR pano).

Not me dog poop police! I don't have a dog.

The Osprey couple have returned and are busy repairing and redecorating the nest that they built last year on top of a nesting platform on Fall Creek.

A short walk in Lower Treman park on Enfield creek. This is the north shelter in the picnic area that can be rented for events/conferences etc. Built many years ago but I like the architectural details.
